Hyderabad: Basti Dawakhanas to refer 'Covid' patients to King Koti hospital
Health Minister Eatala Rajender stated that all Basti Dawakhanas including the newly opened 40 plus centres as well as urban PHCs in GHMC limits are instructed to send patients having Covid-19 related symptoms to King Koti hospital for further assessment and sample testing
Hyderabad: Health Minister Eatala Rajender stated that all Basti Dawakhanas including the newly opened 40 plus centres as well as urban PHCs in GHMC limits are instructed to send patients having Covid-19 related symptoms to King Koti hospital for further assessment and sample testing.
He said that if such cases test positive they will be sent to Gandhi Hospital for treatment and if test report comes negative they will be advised home quarantine.
Further, Eatala stated that OP examination for persons coming with fever, cold, cough, influenza or serious respiratory issues will be held differently to patients coming to OP with other health issues. All Basti Dawakhanas and PHCs have been told to follow these instructions.
Ministers, MLAs and senior officials were on Basti Dawakhana inauguration spree in various parts of the city. Eatala also took part in one such programme held at SV Nagar in Mallapur in the city Inaugurating the facility, Eatala stated that the new health centres would function from 9 am to 4 pm every day.
He appealed to people to avail free of cost medical consultation and tests being extended to everyone.
