A government school principal here at Nampally has been suspended for criticising chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Lateef Mohammad Khan took out a nine-minute video where he listed out all the unkept promises of KCR and uploaded it on a social networking site.

In the video, Khan asked the chief minister as to why he did not keep up the promises like making a dalit the chief minister, 12 per cent reservation to Muslims and free education from KG to PG.

Khan who is also the general secretary of the Civil Liberties Monitoring Committee said that the video is made to question the government.

After the video was uploaded on social media, the school education department has led an inquiry on it and suspended the principal for violating the model code of conduct as a government employee.

Reacting on his suspension, Khan said that he will challenge it in the High Court.
