Invoke PD Act against Akbaruddin Owaisi, demands BJP
There are several cases against the MIM party leader and Chandrayangutta MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi, the police must lodge PD-Act against him, demanded the Bharatiya Janata Party city president Bethi Mahendar Reddy here on Saturday.
Karimnagar: There are several cases against the MIM party leader and Chandrayangutta MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi, the police must lodge PD-Act against him, demanded the Bharatiya Janata Party city president Bethi Mahendar Reddy here on Saturday.
Speaking to the media persons in the press meet held here at R&B guest house, Bethi Mahendar Reddy alleged that whenever Akbaruddin is attending to any meeting in Karimnagar, he is making controversy statements and is trying to disturb the peaceful atmosphere that prevailed in the district.
When police are lodging PD-Act cases against the persons who are indulged in two or three cases, then why the police are not registering PD-Act case against Akbaruddin when several cases were lodged against him across the state, he questioned.
Due to the pressure exerted by the state government, the Karimnagar police officials had given Akbaruddin clean chit. The police officials must remember that the period of any government is just five years where as the police officials will be in service for 60 years. The police must not act coming under the pressure of anyone, he advised.
The TRS government suspended the Swamy Paripurnanda even though there is no single case against him, then why the government is not suspending and terminating Owaisi brothers who are trying to create communal riots with their controversy statements, he questioned.
