Jagtial: MLA Dr Sanjay Kumar assured the people that he will strive hard for the all-round development of the constituency with their support. He attended as a chief guest at o the meeting with TRS activists and leaders to discuss about the action plan to be implemented for winning all the seats in the coming up Municipal polls, at a private function hall in Jagtial on Friday.

Addressing the gathering, MLA Sanjay Kumar alleged that the condition of Jagtial district was not at all good during the reign of previous governments. But after the formation of Telangana State with KT Rama Rao taking charge as the Municipal Minister along with the support extended by former MP K Kavitha, about Rs 50 crores of funds were released for the development of Jagtial Municipality, he pointed out.

With the funds released, several developmental activities were taken up such as modernisation of town hall, development of municipal park, central lighting system, construction of Mini tank bund and many more, he informed.

Speaking about RTC strike, the MLA alleged that the leaders of Opposition parties are intentionally tempting the RTC employees to defame the TRS government without knowing the facts. Did the Congress government during its tenure or the BJP government in some States at present, merged RTC with the government? Then why they are supporting their strike? he questioned.

The MLA appealed the TRS leaders and activists to work hard for winning all the seats in the coming up municipal polls by explaining the people about the development that has been taking place under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

TRS leaders G Satish, GR Deshai, B Venkateshwarlu, R Gopal, A Jayasri, Raghu, Devendar Naik, Venkateshwar Rao, Kishore, Ravinder, Narendar, Srinivas, Shankar, Shivakesari Babu, Mallesham, Jitendar, Liyakath Ali Mosin, Prabhath Singh, K Giri, Patel and Latha were present along with others.
