Karimnagar: Elaborate arrangements in place for Bathukamma festivities
Karimnagar Municipal Corporation has made elaborate arrangements for the grand celebration of Saddhula Bathukamma under the aegis of the civic body in the city, Municipal Commissioner G Venu Gopal Reddy said on Saturday.

The Municipal Commissioner along with other officials inspected the Bhatukamma immersion points that were identified at various places including Manair Wagu, Gorlakunta, Manair dam premises, Lake police station,Veda Bhavan, the merged villages such as Arepalli Vallampahad, Theegalagutta and Markfed area and Padmanagar Colony under the City Municipal Corporations limits in Karimnagar.
Commissioner Venu Gopal Reddy said that all the arrangement such as lighting systems, barricades and drinking water facilities are arranged at various places including various immersion points that are idenditified under City Municipal corporation limits for conducting the Saddula Bhatukamma celebrations peacefully on a smooth note.
Additional arrangements are also made in the merged villages for the convenience of the people to play Saddula Bhatukamma happily and joyfully, he added.
The Superintending Engineer Bhadraiah, Divisional Engineer Masood, Assistant Engineer Chaitanya and other municipal staff and former corporators were present.
