Khammam: Woman constable felicitated for bagging 3 medals in sports events
Police Commissioner Tafseer Iqbal appreciated a woman police constable, Ratna Kumari, who bagged three medals in the Indian Young Olympian Federation games held in Mumbai recently, on Wednesday at his office.
Khammam: Police Commissioner Tafseer Iqbal appreciated a woman police constable, Ratna Kumari, who bagged three medals in the Indian Young Olympian Federation games held in Mumbai recently, on Wednesday at his office.
Speaking on the occasion, the Commissioner informed Ratna Kumari had participated in the South Asian Invitation Yoga Championship -2019 competitions, which were conducted by the Indian Young Olympian Federation in Mumbai recently and she bagged first and third places and secured two gold medals and one silver medal.
The Commissioner said the department has been encouraging games and sports for its staff. He also recalled a number of employees from the district who participated in the State and International level games. The Commissioner felicitated Ratna Kumari on the day.
