Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Thursday arrived in Hyderabad on a private visit
Hyderabad: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Thursday arrived in Hyderabad on a private visit. During his stay at Raj Bhavan, the TRS MPs led by Parliamentary party leader K Keshava Rao, Telangana Assembly Speaker P Srinivas Reddy and Legislative Council Chairman G Sukhendar Reddy called on the Speaker and welcomed the latter to the City of Pearls.
The Lok Speaker enquired his Telangana counterpart the new practices adopted in the functioning of the State Assembly and also exchanged views on the use of technology in the administration of Legislature. Birla will attend the marriage of TRS MP from Zaheerabad BB Patil's son at Ramoji Film city. TRS Lok Sabha Party leader N Nageshwara Rao, Ranjit Reddy and P Ramulu were among the TRS MPs who met the Lok Speaker.
