A man bludgeoned his wife to death with cricket bat here at Mahabubabad late on Wednesday night.
According to the police, the victim Sunitha, a native of MH Nagar in Desaipeta got married to Lanka Ramu 11 years ago. They have three kids.
On Wednesday night, the couple had an argument following which Ramu thrashed her with a cricket bat in a fit of rage. Later he surrendered before police.
CI Ravi Kumar and SI inspected the spot and shifted the body to a hospital for post-mortem. The police registered a case and an investigation is underway.
