Tandur: MLA Rohit Reddy on Tuesday asked R&B officials immediately to take up the repairs of roads that were in bad condition. Responding to the news item published in The Hans India with title 'Bad roads rankle commuters' on Monday, the MLA reviewed a meeting with the officials concerned at his camp office.
He directed them to take up repair works of the road between William High School and NTR Nagar along with Tandur-Kodangal road. He told them to prepare proposals to construct footpath, railing, and four-lane BT road. The MLA said that if the stretch of Khanzapur-Chengole was completed as part of outer ring road works, the pollution by the vehicles would be reduced in the town.R&B DE Srinivas, Jayaram and others were among those present.
