Mother, baby die in Khammam hospital
In a tragic incident, mother and a baby died with fits after suffering from labour pains.
Khammam: In a tragic incident, mother and a baby died with fits after suffering from labour pains. This incident took place at district hospital in Khammam on Saturday.
Punneganti Hemalata(28) for her first delivery was admitted to the hospital on November 18. Doctors warned her there is a life threat to the baby because the women is suffering from some health issues. On Saturday morning while she was suffering with labour pains, doctors shifted her to ICU when she was undergoing treatment fits started and later died along with baby.
And doctors kept the issue secret and later informed the incident to relatives. The relatives and parents of deceased alleged due to doctors' negligence caused the death of baby and women. This is not the first time but many incidents took place earlier also but either or staff did not change their attitude.
