Nalgonda: Former minister and MP Komatireddy Venkata Reddy questioned whether it is necessary for the state government to spend Rs105 crore in the name of the state formation decade celebrations when many sections of people, including the farmers and the unemployed, are suffering in the state.

Speaking to reporters in Nalgonda on Sunday, he said that if you ask the farmers who are staying at the IKP centers day and night in the sun and rain, they will tell you whether the decade celebrations are necessary or not.

He informed that a farmer was hit by a tractor while he slept on the pile of grain in a purchase center located in Karimnagar.

He claimed there are 30 lakh unemployed people in the State who prepared for the group exams with a lot of expenditure, their future was thrown into confusion due to the leakof papers.

He said that there has been no recruitment of teachers since 9 years. he suggested the government ask the unemployed,Then they will tell whether the decade celebrations are necessary or not.

He said that in the background of the approaching elections, the government has prepared for an unprecedented commotion in the name of Telangana formation decade celebrations.

He said that the BRS party is bound to lose in the next election, even though the government is trying to play gimmicks and fraudulent announcements.He exuded confidence that Congress will win 12 seats in the joint Nalgonda district in the coming elections.
