Narayanpet: Fire engulfs hardware shop, 20 lakh worth material reduced to ashes
A hardware shop was gutted due to short circuit in Kosgi mandal of Narayanpet district on Thursday. According to sources, Mohammad Rahuf owns the hardware shop near the bus stand in Kosgi municipality.
Narayanpet: A hardware shop was gutted due to short circuit in Kosgi mandal of Narayanpet district on Thursday. According to sources, Mohammad Rahuf owns the hardware shop near the bus stand in Kosgi municipality. After he closed his shop at around 10.30 pm on Wednesday night, a short circuit led to fire in the shop on Thursday early hours and Rs 20 lakh worth material was reduced to ashes.
After learning about the fire, the shop owner rushed to the spot and immediately informed to the fire station. However even before the fire tenders could contain the flames, everything in the shop was reduced to ashes. The fire tenders fought for about half-an-hour and brought the fire under control and saved other shops from catching the fire. The shop owner meanwhile sought government help.
