Somajiguda: NSUI state president Balamuri Venkat, along with the students of JNU, Jamia Milia IslamiaI and HCU, released the fact-finding report on the violence in UP during the protest programme against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), at a press meet here on Tuesday. They displayed a video on the actual conditions.

The students who visited the victims and the affected areas claimed that they collectively observed a common pattern to the police brutality and oppression across the state on communal basis.

They alleged that people affiliated to various Hindu right-wing outfits, ruling political parties and RSS, Bajrang Dal, and even a minister were seen instigating violence and helping police attack people and burn property belonging to a particular community.

The students stated that the violence could be seen as the culmination of communal polarisation spread by the government and social media over past few years affecting administration and common people's psyche and generating a sense of hatred towards particular community.
