Ramannapet : Class 8 boy ends life on rail tracks after defeat in school elections
Feeling insulted over his defeat in elections for the class representative post, a Class 8 boy committed suicide on rail tracks. The incident came to light on Friday.

According to sources and the railway police, Chindam Charan Kumar (13), a Class 8 student of Krishnaveni Talent School in Ramannapet mandal headquarters in the district, took part in the elections for the post of class representative held by the school management on July 16.
In the elections, Sai Charan and another girl contested for the post and the girl won over Sai Charan and was elected as class representative. Sai Charan who could not accept his defeat went home on Thursday evening and spend some time. Later, he left the home. Worried parents searched for him Thursday night, but in vain.
However, on Friday, they came to know that their son's body was on railway tracks. Based on the complaint Chindam Vijay Kumar, father of Sai Charan, railway SI P Achutham registered a case and took up the investigation.
