With the strike reaching 38th day today, the RTC employees attempted to lay siege to Harish Rao's resident in Siddipet on Monday.

However, the police alerted over it and foiled the attempt of the RTC workers who reached the minister's residence by raising slogans against the government.

A clash broke out between the workers and the police leading to a mild commotion in the area. Meanwhile, a few women RTC workers fell unconscious during the incident and were sent to a local hospital.

On the other hand, the RTC JAC on Sunday called for an indefinite hunger strike by four of the workers from tomorrow. The unions also said that they will organise Sadak Bandh on November 18.
