SCCL calls for more women entrepreneurs in Khammam
Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) is conducting many service programmes mainly for women, said Director of the company N Balaram.
Khammam: Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) is conducting many service programmes mainly for women, said Director of the company N Balaram. On Friday, he attended as the chief guest to the valedictory of training programme held for women at Singareni Office in Hyderabad. The SCCL has conducted a five-day training programme with support of National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, he explained that the company was giving training for women in all areas under Singareni Seva Samithi (SSS) and Singareni Employees Wives Association (SWA). He appealed to the women to become entrepreneurs and become financially independent. Later the Director presented certificates to over 25 women who were trained in tailoring, fashion designing, embroidery and other vocational courses. General Manager Anthony Raja, SSS all area co-ordinator Budagam Mahesh and other officers attended the programme.
