Warangal: The School of Distance Learning and Continuing Education (SDLCE), one of the premier institutions in the country offering distance education, of the Kakatiya University (KU) has on Sunday released the results of 'Eligibility Test' (ET).
It may be mentioned here that the ET is a qualifying exam for those candidates above the age of 18 years (without education qualification) seeking admission to undergraduate (degree) courses.
In a specially convened meeting here, the KU Controller of Examinations Prof S Mahender Reddy, SDLCE Director Prof G Veeranna and Additional Controller of Examinations Dr Y Venkaiah released the Eligibility Test results.
Prof Mahender Reddy said that 3,207 candidates in a total of 3,538 who appeared for the Eligibility Test, have got through and eligible for admission to undergraduate courses. In all, 90.64 per cent candidates got through the test, Prof Reddy said.
SDLCE Director Prof G Veeranna said that the results were available on the www.sdlceku.co.in and www.sdlcekuems.co.in. He said that web link of the results will be sent to all the candidates so that they can download the memo.
The candidates seeking admission in undergraduate courses can choose any of the Students Learner Centres of the SDLCE located across Telangana. The students who have got through the Eligibility Test can apply for admission without late fee up to August 31, Prof Veeranna said. The candidates can browse UGC-DEB's website for rules and regulations in force, he added.
Additional Controller of Examinations Dr P Sadanandam, A R Suresh Babu and SDLCE media in-charge Dr Sangala Ephraim Raj were among others present.
