State Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar inaugurated a new auditorium building here in Mamillagudem village of the district on Monday.
Khammam: State Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar inaugurated a new auditorium building here in Mamillagudem village of the district on Monday.
Addressing the people, the Minister said that the State government is giving importance to the education sector and a lot of fund has been released for the promotion of education in the State. He said that the auditorium building was constructed at the cost of Rs 15 lakh for students.
Besides the education sector, the Minister added, the government is giving utmost importance to the heath and cultural development in the State. For the development of the Bala Bhavan in the town the government has already released Rs 8 lakh. Tutors are appointed on temporary basic to teach students.
Zilla Parishad chairman L Kamal Raj said the state government is sanctioning a lot of funds for the development of the Khammam town. Later Minister Ajay Kumar along with ZP chairman participated in planting of saplings on the auditorium premises.
MLC B Laxminarayana, Mayor Papalal, Depurty Mayor Murali Prasad, District Collector R V Karnan, District Education Officer Madhan Mohan, Commissoner of Corporation J Srinivas Rao, Executive Engineer D RaviBabu and other officers attended the programme.
