The polling for ZPTC and MPTC elections will be held on May 6 in the first phase
An election notification for 197 ZPTC and 2,166 MPTC seats for the first phase has been issued today. In the first phase, the elections are being held for 32 districts in the state and the notification was released by the returning officers of the respective areas.
With the release of notification, the process of filing nomination papers has been begun. The last date for filing the papers is April 24 and for nomination withdrawal from April 26 to April 28. The verification of papers will be done on April 25 and objections are invited on April 26.
The polling for ZPTC and MPTC elections will be held on May 6 in the first phase and the results will be declared on May 27.
