Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the government has introduced several welfare schemes for the wellbeing of disabled persons. They must utilise them and must develop financially in their life without depending on others, he suggested.

ARPPI national president Dr Atla Srinivas Reddy requested the Welfare Minister to open the Rehabilitation and De-addiction centres at the district headquarters in all the districts present in the State.

He also requested the Minister to take initiation for appointment of psychologists at every hospital and in the rehabilitation centres, which will be established further.

He submitted a memorandum in this regard to Minister Eshwar. Later, Minister K Eshwar inaugurated the book 'Prapanchanni Jayinchadam Ela' (How to conquer the world) written by Dr Atla Srinivas Reddy on the occasion. Chandupatla Vivek Kumar, Lakhan, Srikanth and Rajendar were among those who were present.
