Hyderabad: The Cyber Crime sleuths of Hyderabad on Wednesday arrested two persons who had cheated the people on the pretext of providing jobs in Tech Mahindra and Infosys companies.

According to sleuths, they received complaints from the victims Ramanjaneyulu, Vinay Kumar and Sri Harish on different dates stating that they were cheated by the accused identified as D Shiva Krishna (26) and R Naveen Kumar (29) on the pretext of providing jobs in Tech Mahindra Company.

Believing their words, they transferred online Rs 1.50 lakh, Rs 2.25 lakh and Rs 3 lakh respectively to the given account numbers. After paying the amount, the accused did not respond to them and failed to provide jobs.

The accused would collect the mobile numbers of the job aspirants from job consultancies, web portals and would contact the job aspirants over mobile phones on the names of Gopal Krishna, Ravi Kiran, Sai, Suresh etcetera on fake names.

Later offer them software jobs in Tech Mahindra and Infosys companies by sending emails which are similar to emails of Tech Mahindra company. After gaining their confidence, the accused would collect the money from the job aspirants on the pretext of registration fees, security deposit, interview charges, processing fee etcetera to their bank accounts which were opened by the accused on fake names. After receiving money initially, again the accused continue collecting money on one or another pretext.

Likewise, the accused would collect the money until the victims realize themselves about cheating and stop to transfer the money.

When the victims question them about the returns, the accused would stop responding the calls of the victims.

Likewise, the accused cheated many others. Based on the complaint of the victim's police registered cases under section 419, 420 IPC and Section 66 (D) of ITA Act and arrested the accused.
