World Tribal Day celebrated in Miryalaguda

Miryalaguda (Nalgonda): Miryalaguda MLA N Bhaskar Rao stated that the State government has been striving for the welfare of tribals in the State in all aspects. On Friday, he participated as chief guest to a programme held on the occasion of World Tribal Day in Miryalaguda.

Speaking on occasion, he stated that tribals of Telangana region were neglected in united Andhra Pradesh rule. However, after the Telangana Rashtra Samithi came to power in the State after the State's bifurcation, it has taken all measures for the welfare of tribals in the State.

As part of development in tribal areas, the government made upgraded the tribal hamlets into gram panchayats, he added, informing that he would extend his cooperation to all tribal hamlets in his constituency. The dance performance by tribal women enthralled many on the occasion.
