A woman was injured in a Country made bomb blast on Tuesday evening near railway track in Renigunta Mandal of Chittoor District.
Tirupati: A woman was injured in a Country made bomb blast on Tuesday evening near railway track in Renigunta Mandal of Chittoor District.
According to Renigunta CI Anjuyadhav, a shepherd Sasikala of Tarakarama Nagar noticed a box near the railway track and tried to open that box by a stick during that time the country-made bomb was blasted and Sasi Kala severely injured in the incident.
Immediately locals reported the incident to the Renigunta police. On the receiving of information, Renigunta Urban CI Anjuyadav and her team rushed to the spot and took up the investigation. Injured shepherd Sasikala was shifted to Tirupati Ruia hospital for treatment.
Bomb disposal squad personnel have also visited the spot and collected the specimens from the blasting place.
