Vijayawada: The women devotees on Tuesday brought the Holy Ashada Sare to present it to the Goddess Kanaka Durga atop Indrakeeladri on a grand note. The devotees performed traditional dance and played traditional music instruments while carrying the Sare.
More than nine batches of devotees were given permission to offer Sare. Vedic pundits blessed all the women who offered Sare to the goddess with Vedic hymns.
