Beneficiaries to be selected dept-wise: Collector informs CS
West Godavari District Collector R Muthyala Raju has informed Chief Secretary Nilam Sawhney that department-wise plans have been formulated for the selection of beneficiaries under the various welfare schemes of the State government.
Eluru: West Godavari District Collector R Muthyala Raju has informed Chief Secretary Nilam Sawhney that department-wise plans have been formulated for the selection of beneficiaries under the various welfare schemes of the State government.
During a videoconference of the Chief Secretary with the District Collectors on the guidelines to be followed and implementation of government schemes, the Collector said that to make beneficiaries selection error-free, utmost care has been taken through family-wise mapping for all the schemes.
Later, the District Collector convened a review meeting with several district officials. Addressing them, he said that the next one month was extremely crucial for various schemes as beneficiaries need to be selected during the period. Though no particular work belongs to the department, officials of all departments should be prepared to take up the task assigned to them, the Collector said.
He informed the officials that from November 20 to December 20, special programme should be taken up for selection of beneficiaries for various government schemes with the help of ward/village volunteers. Immediate plans should be evolved for selection of beneficiaries for schemes such as YSR Arogya Sri card, new ration card, YSR Pension Kanuka, Jagananna Vidya Deevena, Jagananna Vasati Deevena etc.
