Amaravati: Municipal Administration Minister Botcha Satyanarayana slammed TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu that his corruption led to the withdrawal of the Indo UK Institute of Health (IUIH) proposed project in Amaravati capital city. He stated that "since Chandrababu Naidu resorted to quid pro quo in the allocation of lands to the IUIH, they went back from the project". He blamed the then TDP government in a press conference here at the YSRCP party office at Tadepalli in Guntur district on Thursday.

The proposed IUIH Medicity project in Amaravati was of the estimated project cost of Rs.1000 Crore. It would create 10,000 direct employment. The project was supposed to come on 150 acres of land.

The Minister stated that when this was an internationally highly reputed organization and Prime Minister's Office directly involved and the project was based on the bilateral agreements between the two countries, the then TDP government was supposed to be very careful. But, Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh delt with them wrongly, which was unfortunate, he added. He further demanded the TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh react on it and reveal the facts behind this development. He further blamed that it became a fashion for the TDP leaders to say that the investments were going back in the YSRCP government. But, what happened in the case of IUIH? he asked.

On the other hand, Chandrababu Naidu was trying to create clashes and tense situation in the state, Botcha added. He said that Chandrababu was unable to bear the fact that AP is peaceful in the rule of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Minister said that the TDP rule was full of atrocities. In particular, former speaker Kodela Sivaprasad Rao and former MLA Yarapatineni Srinivasa Rao indulged in many atrocious acts in Palnadu region of Guntur district. Now TDP became politically unemployed. So it was creating chaos with paid artists. The TDP was magnifying small village clashes and showing them as bigger issues. We won't be disturbed by the noises of Chandrababu Naidu, he added.

Botcha continued that the law and order situation is now fine in the state of Andhra Pradesh. CM Jagan has focused on welfare activities in these 100 days of rule. By God's grace, all projects are full of water. The CM has ordered to be stringent on the matter of law and order. We respect the system and obey laws. TDP has no value for weaker sections. TDP woman leader Nannapaneni Rajakumari insulting a Dalit woman police officer is the evidence. TDP leader Acchennaidu insulting a police officer depicts the egoistic attitude of their party. TDP people speaking foul of the government is strongly objectionable.

Botcha reiterated his claim that there was no gazette notification for Amaravati capital.

The minister responded on the comments made by BJP MP YS Chowdary. YS Chowdary has recently joined BJP but he basically is from TDP. So his words have no sanctity. If he asks for CM statement, should the CM oblige him? After all, he is a turncoat MP from TDP, the Minister blamed.

The minister is asked about the statement of JSP chief Pawan Kalyan that he will release his party's analysis on 100 days of YSRCP government on Saturday. Botsa said that Pawan had raised some issues before elections like kidney problems in Uddanam in North Andhra, and YS Jagan took concrete steps to resolve them. So Pawan Kalyan at first should congratulate the government, Botcha opined. If Pawan Kalyan acts otherwise, he will be exposed as a 100% supporter of TDP, he said.
