The government has decided to reduce two vehicles in the convoy. Along with the escort vehicle, the pilot clearance vehicle has been removed.
Over this, the TDP leaders have raised objections on the decision taken by the government. They said after consulting the Security Affairs Committee then the decision should be taken.
In the 2019 general elections, the TDP has faced bitter defeat. The TDP government has lost power in the state. With this, the government has decided to reduce the pilot and escort vehicles from the convoy.
The TDP leaders are questioning, how can the pilot and escort vehicles are removed from the convoy of Chandrababu Naidu who is in Z Plus security category.
They also said that Chandrababu will be interacting with the public over the issues, he needs to attend the Assembly sessions and further Naidu will be traveling across the state.
As the local body elections are nearing, the TDP leaders are demanding for the pilot and escort vehicles in Chandrababu Naidu's convoy.
On the other side, the government has dismissed the objections of the TDP leaders. The YSRCP leaders clarified that the security is provided according to the level of the Opposition leader position and in addition, Z plus security is continued.
