Visakhapatnam: The members of CITU, Greater Visakha Nagar Committee on Saturday took out a rally in the city marking the beginning of the three-day All India Trade Union Congress national executive meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, CITU State president Ch Narasinga Rao said the organisation would wage a relentless struggle against the lopsided policies of the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre.
Accusing the Centre of suppressing the rights of workers, the trade union leader said the Centre was trying to favour the corporate sector ignoring the public sector undertakings. The budget presented by Centre clearly reflects this, he alleged.
