District Collector Mohammad Imtiaz said that about 47.40 percent attended in the morning and 48.42 percent attended in the afternoon session for the Civil Services Preliminary examination in the Krishna district held on Sunday.

Vijayawada: District Collector Mohammad Imtiaz said that about 47.40 percent attended in the morning and 48.42 percent attended in the afternoon session for the Civil Services Preliminary examination in the Krishna district held on Sunday.

The District Collector inspected the centres at the Siddhartha Arts and Science College and Narayana Junior College at the Benz circle. Speaking to the media he said that 22 centres have been arranged for the 9,872 candidates in the city.

He said that 4,679 candidates sat for the test in the morning session out of 9,872 candidates and 4,780 candidates took part in the afternoon session examination out of the 9,872 candidates, he said and added that the exam was conducted peacefully at all the centres. Joint Collector Krutika Shukla also inspected SRR& CVR college and the Gandhi Mahila Kalasala centers .
