Collector lauds staff for peaceful conduct of polls
As a relief measure for the employees from just completed election assignment, a friendly cricket match has been held at DSA Sports stadium here in which the employees of revenue department and police sports personnel have taken part.
Chittoor: As a relief measure for the employees from just completed election assignment, a friendly cricket match has been held at DSA Sports stadium here in which the employees of revenue department and police sports personnel have taken part. District Collector P S Pradyumna was the captain for Revenue Employees team whereas Chittoor SP Vikranth Patil was the captain for Police team for T-20 match.
Police sports team has won the match. Such a friendly cricket match was held here two months ago, in which several players from Revenue and Police department have taken part, Pradyumna said. Speaking to the media men here on Sunday, District Collector complimented that both revenue employees and police personnel have played an outstanding role in conducting 2019 general elections in a peaceful atmosphere.
`` It is a herculean task. We have done relentless efforts for making the event a success. We have to undertake the task of counting of votes also with the same spirit " he said. He congratulated Chittoor SP Vikranth Patil for winning the friendly match. Tirupati SP Amburajan, Joint Collector P S Girisha , Tirupati Sub Collector Dr.Mahesh Kumar, Chittoor Municipal Commissioner C Obulesh and others took part in the friendly cricket match.
