Tirumala: Darshan linked donation scheme `SRIVANI came handy to a group of Thai devotees to have a good darshan of Lord Venkateswara. A Bangkok, Thailand devotee Harrison, along with six other friends, has booked darshan of Lord Venkateswara for November 28 by contributing a donation to Sri Venkateswara Alaya Nirmana (SRIVANI) Trust on November 23.

He had Netra darshan of Lord Venkateswara on Thursday. When, the TTD Additional EO AV Dharma Reddy interacted with these Thai devotees, Harrison said, a few years ago one of his colleagues was badly hit both in his professional and personal life. He is an ardent devotee of Lord Venkateswara and made a vow to come for His darshan once he comes out from all his problems and he fulfilled his vow.

``I came to know about SRIVANI Trust and booked the ticket in on-line. I am not aware that I can also book accommodation. So I took cottage down Hill. After having Darshan of Lord, I felt extremely happy. This has been a really new experience for me", he added.

Later, the Thai devotee and his friends were rendered Vedasirvachanam at Ranganayakula Mandapam in Tirumala by Veda Pundits. The Additional EO also presented the lamination portrait of the Lord along with Theertha Prasadams.
