Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan asked Gautam Sawang, chairman and members of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), who called on him at Raj Bhavan here on Tuesday, to ensure that all the vacancies notified to the commission are filled in a timely and transparent manner as per schedule.

Vijayawada: Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan asked Gautam Sawang, chairman and members of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), who called on him at Raj Bhavan here on Tuesday, to ensure that all the vacancies notified to the commission are filled in a timely and transparent manner as per schedule.

Gautam Sawang handed over a copy of the Annual Report of the commission for the year 2021-2022 to Governor Harichandan. The Governor said that unemployed youth in the state are eagerly looking forward for the notification of vacancies by the Service Commission and that the commission should rise up to their aspirations by speeding up the recruitment process.

Gautam Sawang briefed the Governor on the status of various notifications issued in 2021-2022 to fill different categories of posts and that the Commission is planning for release of a few job notifications shortly. Special chief secretary to Governor R P Sisodia, members of APPSC K Vijayakumar, Prof Padma Raju, Dr G V Sudhakar Reddy, A V Ramana Reddy, P Sudhir, N Sony Wood, N Sudhakar Reddy, joint secretary P S Suryaprakash were also present on the occasion.
