Amaravati: The TDP leader and Denduluru former MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar have been released from the Eluru sub-jail after getting bail on Saturday. On the occasion, the TDP leaders and activists reached the jail and given a grand welcome to him. For the last 66 days, Chintamaneni Prabhakar was locked up in prison as there were 18 cases registered against him.

Earlier, the court has granted bail to Chintamaneni, who got arrested in the case of abusing Dalits. Later, the previous cases against him were brought to the trial, where the court has continued the remand. Finally, after completing the hearing, the Eluru district court has granted bail to former MLA on Friday.

After filling SC and ST atrocity case on Chintamaneni last September, he went untraced for a few days. In this context, the police have issued lookout notice on him. Later, when his wife's health was not well, he returned to the house.

The police have arrested Chintamaneni Prabhakar on September 11 at his house in Duggirala in Guntur district and since then remained in the jail. After 66 days he got bail in all cases and released from jail.
