Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan and his wife Suprava Harichandan hosted the 'At Home' function at Raj Bhavan here on Thursday on the occasion of 73 rd Independence Day.
Governor Harichandan went around and greeted the guests at the function and wished them on the occasion. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Cabinet Ministers, Acting Chief Justice Praveen Kumar, Judges of AP High Court, Council Chairman Shariff Mohammed Ahmed, Assembly Speaker Thammineni Seetharam, Members of Parliament, MLAs, MLCs and several other public representatives attended the programme held in a cordial atmosphere at Raj Bhavan.
Chief Secretary LV Subrahmanyam, DGP Gautam Sawang and several senior bureaucrats, serving and retired officers, Defence officers, awardees, freedom fighters, members of media also participated in the function. Secretary to Governor Mukesh Kumar Meena and Joint Secretary Arjuna Rao welcomed the guests.
