Incentives to be given to entrepreneurs: Collector
A separate mechanism is being followed for sanction of industrial incentives to the entrepreneurs, said East Godavari Collector D Muralidhar Reddy.
Kakinada: A separate mechanism is being followed for sanction of industrial incentives to the entrepreneurs, said East Godavari Collector D Muralidhar Reddy. Addressing the district industrial promotion committee meet organised at Collectorate here on Friday, the Collector said that the results of 'Ease of doing business' should reach the new entrepreneurs at field level and every effort should be made by the department to educate the entrepreneurs to come forward for establishing new units.
With regards to sanctioning of industrial incentives to the units in the district and the rejection of certain proposals, the Collector directed the industries department to fix a certain date to verify the applications received for incentives and to guide the applicants for submission of documents required before the stipulated date.
The Collector also directed the single desk implementation and concerned departments to give approvals with in a stipulated period and rejection of any application shall be done only after obtaining concurrence form the commissioner of industries.
Muralidhar Reddy directed the industries department to encourage SC, ST, BC entrepreneurs for establishing industrial units by providing the incentives available.East Godavari GM, DIC AV Patel and other stake holder departments' representatives were present.
