Kakinada: Nearly 80 days after the closure of Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy temple in view of Covid-19 outbreak, the Annavaram Devasthanam authorities are all set to open the temple for devotees darshan on June 11. Before this, the temple authorities will conduct trial run with local devotees and employees maintaining social distancing.

Speaking to media here on Sunday, Temple Executive Officer Vendra Trinatha Rao said they will conduct the trail run on June 8-9 in this regard. He said only 600 devotees booked tickets through online slot for the darshan of lord per day. He said devotees should follow social distancing norms and have to wear masks and use sanitiser.

He said those who booked through online slot should come to temple 30 minutes in advance. He advised the devotees to bring Aadhar card. As a precautionary measure, devotees will not be allowed to enter garbhalaya and Antaralaya darshans and only laghu darshan is allowed.

After the darshan of lord, he said there will be no teertham and satagopam and added free meal and Kesakhandana were also suspended temporarily. Only two persons were allowed for vratas and Kalyanams. Devotees above 60 years age and below 10 years children will be not allowed for darshan.
