Participate in social service activities, retired staff told
Joint Collector M Venugopala Reddy has called upon the retired employees to actively take part in social service activities which gives them immense satisfaction.
Eluru: Joint Collector M Venugopala Reddy has called upon the retired employees to actively take part in social service activities which gives them immense satisfaction. He felicitated the retired employees here on Wednesday night.
As many as 16 officials and staff from 12 government departments were given a warm send off at a function held here. Reddy along with Assistant Collector Himanshu Kaushik congratulated the felicitated retired staff and handed over documents of retirement benefits.
Speaking on the occasion, Reddy appreciated Collector R Muthyala Raju for initiating the good culture of felicitating the retired staff after serving for 30 years in the government. The government was also conducting a one-day grievance cell for employees in service to settle their problems.
He appealed to the retired employees to safeguard their health and work for the welfare of society and their family members. Speakers at the programme heaped praises on the retired staff for their good qualities at work. Officials of various government departments were present on the occasion.
