Pawan Kalyan has no awareness of farmers' difficulties: Minister Mopidevi Venkataramana

Andhra Pradesh marketing minister Mopidevi Venkataramana challenged Pawan Kalyan for a public debate on farmers issues. The minister alleged that the Jana Sena chief has no knowledge on farmers except delivering the speeches, written by Chandrababu Naidu. Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, Mopidevi said Pawan Kalyan's comments on the government were infuriating.
"The problem with onions is all over the country. We are providing 25kg of onion through farmer's bazaars. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is a farmer biased, it is not fair on part of Pawan Kalyan to sling mud on the government, " the minister added.
The govt has launched a price stabilisation Scheme with Rs. 3000 crore. Farmers are being provided financial assistance under the YSR Raithu Bharosa scheme.
Mopidevi said that Pawan should know the facts before spewing venom on the government.
