Srikakulam: Residents of Odisha state have become voters in Srikakulam district, alleged TDP Pathapatnam Assembly constituency in-charge Kalamata Venkata Ramana. Speaking at a press conference here on Tuesday, he said that in Kotturu mandal at Booth No 202 officials recorded 81 residents of Odisha as voters.

In Hiramandal, officials enrolled 262 persons from Odisha state as voters under Booth No 303. “These are only two examples.

There are more number of such instances in Pathapatnam Assembly constituency. We have registered complaints with the district and state level election officials on the irregularities but such votes have not been removed till today. We are going to take up legal action against the officials concerned on the illegal additions to voters list,” said Venkata Ramana. TDP leaders Pogiri Buchi Babu and P Tejeswara Rao were also present.
