A serious road accident occurred on National Highway 44 near a dhaba in Pamidi town, Anantapur district, when an unidentified vehicle collided with a car making its way from Chikkaballapur in Karnataka to Mantralayam.

Unfortunately, two individuals were pronounced dead at the scene. The police arrived at the scene and are investigating the accident.
