Recently, a man who developed suspicious of his wife has brutally tortured her. This incident has taken place at the Kadiri town of Anantapur district.
According to the police, the couple resides at Somesh Nagar here in the town, has got married four years ago and works as a wage laborer. However, the husband uses to harassed his wife over suspicious that she is having an illegal affair with another man.
In this context, on the last month 29th, the husband, who was under the influence of alcohol, called his friend to the house, tied his wife to the bed and got her raped with his friend and later brutally tortured her.
After she disclosed the matter with her parents, they approached the police. On receiving the information, the Kadiri Rural police have registered a case, shifted the woman to the government hospital for treatment.
The investigation revealed that the victim's husband was jailed for raping a girl in the past. Currently, both the accused are absconding, and police have initiated a search to find them.
