YS Jagan meets PM Modi, invites him to his oath-taking ceremony


- YS Jagan invites PM Narendra Modi to the former's oath taking ceremony
- He also asked to look into special category status for Andhra Pradesh
YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Sunday met prime minister Narendra Modi at the latter's residence at Lok Kalyan Marg.
Jagan congratulated Modi for emerging victorious in the Lok Sabha elections and later invited him to attend his oath-taking ceremony in Vijayawada on May 30.
After discussing the political developments in the country, YS Jagan and PM Modi decided to work together for the development of both the Telugu speaking states. The YSRCP chief also asked Modi to release the pending funds to the state and also asked to look into the special category status for Andhra Pradesh.
He also asked to allocate funds to Kadapa steel plant, Polavaran and Duggarajapattanam ports.
