Recently there were rumors that veteran actor Rishi Kapoor will be returning home after his long health treatment in New York. Asked how his father is now doing, Ranbir said, “He is doing, he misses working in films so with everyone's good wishes he will be back home soon.”

The actor will be next seen in the fantasy film, 'Bramhastra' alongside girlfriend Alia Bhatt. Talking about the film he said, "Its my next film so I am super excited, we still have around 35 to 40 days of shot left. We still have some time, the film will come out in December."
With newcomers Vicky Kaushal and Kartik Aaryan hosting the show, when asked Rabir who is his favorite all time host he sad, "My favorite host has always been Mr. Shah Rukh Khan but the Vicky and Kartik are doing great.
Praising the new generation he added, "The new generation are extremely talented, funny and extremely hard working actors so I am sure they will do a great job at whatever they choose to do."
Ranbir's next fantasy adventure trilogy is directed by Ayan Mukerji and also stars Mouni Roy, and Amitabh Bachchan. The film's first part is slated to hit the screens in December 2019.
Brahmāstra: Chapter 1, will be the first time Amitabh Bachchan will be seen working with Alia and Ranbir.
