Action sought against Nizam College head
An assistant professor working in Nizam College, Tirupathi, has demanded suspension of the college principal Lakshmikanth Rathod and stringent action against him. He was speaking to media at Press Club here on Wednesday.
Basheerbagh: An assistant professor working in Nizam College, Tirupathi, has demanded suspension of the college principal Lakshmikanth Rathod and stringent action against him. He was speaking to media at Press Club here on Wednesday.
He alleged that the college principal had demanded Rs 50,000 from him for making him the head of Business Management department, but as he could not give him the bribe, the post was given to a woman teacher without following norms. He accused the principal of extreme prejudice in promotions and indulging in extortion from sportsperson for selections.
Apart from swindling OU swimming pool funds, the principal was also involved in misuse of grants given by the university for the college development to the tune of Rs 60 lakh, he alleged. He demanded that the state government order an inquiry into his corruption by ACB and take severe action against him.
