Arekapudi inspects tank beautification works
Serilingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi visited Ambir Cheruvu of Hydernagar division on Thursday.
Hydernagar: Serilingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi visited Ambir Cheruvu of Hydernagar division on Thursday. He was accompanied by GHMC Zonal Commissioner Shankaraiah, irrigation SE Gangadhar, EE Khurshid, DE Narender, AE Vishwa and Corporator Dodla Venkatesh Goud. The MLA inspected the tank surroundings and gave recommendations to the officials.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that the beautification works would be done by the Irrigation Department with an estimated cost of Rs 25.34 crore. As part of the beautification works, a walking track will be built around the tank, he said. Giving suggestions to officials regarding the construction of walking path, he urged the officials to complete the works at the earliest. Responding to several complaints from the neighbouring colonies over the unclean surroundings near the tank and about hyacinth, the MLA took special interest in beautifying the park with MLA funds.
