Book on cartoons released in city
The five-day Telugu Cartoons exhibition, organized by the Telangana Cartoonists Welfare Association (TCWA), saw the release of a book, "Ecstasy" (the tickling toons), which includes the collections of various cartoons depicted by various cartoonists of Telangana.

The association held its valedictory function at ICCR Gallery of Kala Bhavan in Ravindra Bharathi on Sunday. The book was released by KV Ramana Chary, Advisor to Government of Telangana, who was the chief guest of the event.
The expo displayed 144 cartoons depicting various themes touching upon the socio-political aspect, gender bias, and other issues. 144 cartoonists participated in the event. Best three cartoons were selected: cartoonists Attaluri, Mohan Kumar and Dr Shiva. They were felicitated with Goottiparthi Anusuya awards by C Partha Sarathi.
