Bringing to you the Ramayana as visualised by Tyagaraja, in this work, they presented on Ramayana as visualized by Sage Tyagaraja , depicting some of the important episodes in the life of Srirama, and also reflections of the saints.

This presentation started with the birth of Srirama and covered Sita Kalyana, then Padukapatabhishekam, Sitapaharanam, Shabarimooksham ,Seethubandanam , Ramaravana Yudham and Mahapattabhishekam.

They used the selected krutis of Saint tyagaraja to bring before you the Tyagaraja Ramayanam, and have used some Slokas from Valmiki ramayanam which have been set to music.

Tyagaraja Ramayanam begins with the birth of Sri Rama, the son of Kousalya, who was born on the 9th day of Chaitra, in the star sign of aditi. Tyagaraja asks "Sogasujudatarama" -Am I even worthy enough to look at the beautiful continence Srirama.

In the song "Uyalalugavaya", Tyagaraja discribes the love of mother Kousalya for her beloved son. The scenes of demon Thataki being killed is portrayed by two selected Slokas of Valmiki. Shivadhanurbhanjana and Sita Kalyana are musically set with rendition of "Sita Kalyana Vaibhogame"

In the second half, Bharata comes searching for Srirama and the Paduka Pattabhishekam is depicted. Seeing this Tyagaraja asks Rama "Sandehamunu Tirpavayya" ( Is your paduka or the saint feet great?)

Seeing the disfigurement of Shurpanaka, Tyagaraja tells "Okamata Okabanamu" Srirama is the epitomeof one word, one arrow and one wife. The Bhakti of Shabhari has moved Tyagaraja deeply and he says "Yentanenevarninchulu Shabhari"

The scenes of Hanuman crossing ocean cause wonder to Tyagaraja and he says "Aparama Bhakti" Only Rama Bhaktha can cross ocean and build the Setuvu across the ocean.

The Ramaravana Yudham is depicted in the song "Sarasa Samadana" Wherein the path to be followed to destroy enemy sama, dhana, bedha and dhanda was followed by Srirama says Tyagaraja.
