GHMC fails to clear garbage on road
Garbage on the roads has became a common sight for people near Vasnthapuri Colony. The uncleared garbage is causing inconvenience to the residents and pedestrians.
Malkajgiri: Garbage on the roads has became a common sight for people near Vasnthapuri Colony. The uncleared garbage is causing inconvenience to the residents and pedestrians.
They are forced to bear the brunt of foul smell emanating from the garbage. Several locals lodged complaints with GHMC officials, but they are yet to take action. The GHMC sanitary staff visits daily and cleans the roads but they don't even bother about the piled-up garbage.
T Laxmi, a local, said, "The place was becoming a permanent dump yard as unknown people are dumping the waste. Even some colony members are misusing the premises and using it as a dumping yard. Bovines and stray dogs visit the place in search of food and obstruct the path to motorists and passers- by.
