Gita recital to be held tomorrow
The president of Swartha Bharathi Charitable Trust and recipient of Rashtrapathi Award, Lion Yedlapalli Mohan Rao, said that the Gita recital would be held at Thyagaraya Gana Sabha on October 1.
Basheerbagh: The president of Swartha Bharathi Charitable Trust and recipient of Rashtrapathi Award, Lion Yedlapalli Mohan Rao, said that the Gita recital would be held at Thyagaraya Gana Sabha on October 1.
Along with, retired judge Chandra Kumar, retired lecturer DJS Prakash, Rasavahini Radhasri, Thaduri Vishweshwar Rao, Konki John, state women president of Aryavaishya Mahasabha Telangana Juluri Swarupa Rani, OU Tulsibhavan Director Dr Pradeep Kumar, Kavitha Arya, J Srinivas Chakravarthi, Lion Vijay Kumar, T Janardhan Murthy and others, he released a brochure for the programme.
Rao said that the Bhagavadgita is considered across world to be one of holy books that can bring about spiritual awakening. It can also bring about personal as well as mental development. He urged people to attend the recital in large numbers.
