Six held for illegally using company trademark
The sleuths of Economic Offences Wing of Cyberabad Police Comissionerate on Friday apprehended a gang of 6 persons for using the trademark and brand name of a company illegally and cheating the customers.
Petbasheerabad: The sleuths of Economic Offences Wing of Cyberabad Police Comissionerate on Friday apprehended a gang of 6 persons for using the trademark and brand name of a company illegally and cheating the customers.
According to police, the gang of Sandeep Kumar, Mukesh, Anil Kumar, Rakesh, Mukesh kumar and Radeshyam were running VRL Packers and Movers Private Limited, VRL Packers and Movers and VRL Logistics Packers and Movers using VRL Logistics Ltd company trademark and brand name with little changes thereby causing financial loss blatantly to the company and cheating the public as well.
Basing on the complainant of Druvraj Jagirdar, vice-president of VRL Logistics Limited, a case was registered at Petbasheerabad police station under sections 420 IPC, Section 104 of Trademark Act and Section 63 of Copy Right Act and the accused were handed over to the Petbasheerabad police for further investigation.
